Fivesol Web Servers
Fivesol servers are ideal if you
are hosting a large number of Internet services and
require complete control over your operation. They are
suitable for running a single, high traffic or database
intensive website, or a number of smaller sites.
Our servers are also suitable for
other services such as multimedia streaming, IRC or game
servers.
Network and Infrastructure
We operate a tier 2, multi-homed and fully
redundant network in London 's Docklands connecting to
five carrier-neutral data centres. The network is
managed and operated by our own technical team who are
on call 24 hours a day to ensure any fault is dealt with
quickly and efficiently, causing the minimum disturbance
to our customers.

Fivesol hosting network, based in
the Redbus facilities in London 's Docklands. The core
of the network is in Sovereign House, the flagship
facility built from the ground up as a data centre and
houses our Cisco core routing, switching and hosting
areas.
Backup routing facilities based on
Cisco 72xx series kit, are running in Meridian Gate and
are connected back to the core on a Gigabit fibre,
backed up on a VLAN circuit provided by Caladan
Communications. Should power be lost to the main routing
in Sovereign House, the backup will take over and feed
connectivity back via fibre. Should the fibre fail,
each site is capable of routing it's own traffic out to
the internet. This setup will give superb reliability
to our network
Backup services such as secondary DNS, MX relay and
off-site storage are running at our site in Meridian
Gate. The storage array for backups and that secondary
DNS and MX is operating from this site.
